Kid has been trying to get over to Louisiana for a couple years (aka a handler trying to get him here) but there is a custody battle going on. I'll believe he's here to stay when he suits up in a regular season LHSAA game. Until then, don't get hopes up.

I know, I know... yall hate me for saying it. Just been happening each season past couple years so slow down.

LSU is indeed recruiting him though so

then again hoops players move around a lot. i'm sure Country Day folks were excited to have Thon Maker too (for 4 games ) hope i can see this kid in the maroon and white

A number of them bounced toward my HS when I was still there, and we proceeded to go to the state title game that following year.

when he was at st. bernard they lost the title game by one point in the late 90s

then he came to chalmette in the summer before Katrina, almost like he knew it was gonna happen, we were gonna consolidate, and he would coach St. Bernard High kids all over again.

but since we joined 5A we've made the playoffs one time and that was as the 32nd seed. if we have Mitch Rob (and he won't be the only player we have), we should expect more even in the toughest district in the state (8-5A basketball will be an all out war. Landry Walker, West Jeff, Helen Cox, Higgins, Bonnabel, etc.)

it is telling though. his mom moved to Arabi, but i still wonder "why Chalmette? you could have gone anywhere". I'd love to ask him

our AD is Coach Brossette who is all about the Tigers. Coach Stockton comes from the Mobile area and actually coached South Alabama's women for a few years. our girls' coach Shondra Johnson was all-SEC for the Alabama women

The reason is quite comical, I'd love to hear him actually say it.

Well he has the build of a perfect 5 for LSU. Looks like he should be able to get up and down the court but also has the size.
