• Safety Darren Myles from Atlanta Carver took an official visit to LSU this past weekend, and sources say he favors the Tigers and Alabama, with Georgia Tech making a strong push. LSU hopes Myles joins Janzen Jackson and Craig Loston in the defensive backfield for the class of 2009. Loston took an unofficial visit to LSU this past weekend and is all but committed to the Tigers, although he has stated he'd like to visit Texas A&M in January. LSU also is the clear leader for Sanford (Fla.) Seminole wide receiver Andre DeBose. But don't count out Miami or Florida, especially the Hurricanes, who appear to be the leader for his talented teammates, safety Ray Ray Armstrong and defensive end Dyron Dye.
