The Tigers are at 23-24 kids for the 2010 class.

Question: If LSU does not receive another verbal committment between now and NSD, would the board to go into meltdown?

I am okay where we are given the talent level, the fact that we've filled a few (not all) needs and that next year's class appears deep in talent.

It wouldn't big. Now if we lost someone, like say Ware or Maclin, then there would be a huge meltdown.

Question: if weptiger leaves and never posts on the RB ever again, would this board go into meltdown?

The real question is if ezride25 leaves and never posts on the RB ever again, would this board go into meltdown?

See anyone can say that!

It would be an anti-meltdown of immeasurable proportions.

I'm afraid, we are beyond meltdown. We know what we have in Les Miles, he wants lowered expectations.

He wants the 4M and a "comfort zone" to run his chaotic system.

However, the good news, he's being watched by fans, media, administration and all who follow LSU FB. He'll never have a comfort zone, and if he falters in 2010, he's gone. Recruiting has gone in the same direction as the program, in 2008/2009, DOWNWARD. IMHO

I am p.o.'d with Miles and he has lost my trust

How can you not be concerned that our staff spent alot of time recruiting kids outside the state that committed and then left us hihg and dry when we should have been recrutiing kids from in state at the same position

Marsh = Jackson
Davis/Hunter = Fobbs, Reed, etc
Saestrunk = Blue, Storm Johnson (out of state)

we should recruit kids who want to be Tigers and are from in State First or go after kids who are dies hards for LSU.........

Considering the need for numbers at WR and, in particular, DT, and Miles could only reel in one WR and not a single 4 or 5 star DT, I would say the meltdown is to be expected and deserved.

It is inexcusable for the gap that Miles has allowed to develop within our WR and DT rotation. And now there is more talk that Chris Davenport will be moved to OL. That is unbelievable considering the numbers of OL we already have and that we only have TWO DT's returning with playing experience in Nevis and Downs.

Fortunately, the failure to recruit consistently will translate into 2010 being Miles final year in Tigertown.

Hopefully this class will not spell down years in the future. The D.line depth is going to be sparse.

We had two great hauls on Dline and OLine the 2 previous years . We will be fine until 2011, and then we can pretty much load up on elite Dline from instate

Has it really? Wish people would quit talking before they did research.

This.

Many kids play out of position in High School. Some even play out of position in College. Most of the time 5* players don't hit in College. Many players don't hit in Pro's. Check out some of the CFA players in the Pro's.

If this happens not to worry it means it's all a part of Lester's plan. He has us on the path. Anything that happens even if it appears good or bad was planned by Mr. Miles.
