I doubt they paid for his trip. I imagine they paid for the girls to be there and make sure he had a good time
Nothing that would be pursued enough to get them in trouble, especially outside of the country. Just thought it was interesting and worth sharing

There is nothing new or unusual about this type of marketing for recruits who are considering a school.
I was looking into taking some accounting courses at LSUS and they flew me to Cabo San Lucas where my suite was full of attractive young women encouraging me to take the full semester courses AND to sign up for journalism courses. I HAD A GREAT TIME.
All schools do something like this.

That's your opinion and you are entitled to it. This board isn't here for things you agree with, it's here to share information among people that wish to find it. If 1 of 10 people that read this found it interesting this board did its job.
Judging by about an even up/down vote ratio about 50% of people found it interesting. Your bruised ego comment is projection, I have no sour grapes about Marvin choosing FSU. I'm sure LSU does similar. If I hear about those stories I'd share them as well, they often are shared on this board.

I imagine there are more Episcopal High/Houston alums at LSU than OSU or Michigan. Just like if LSU missed out on a Midwest prospect other Midwest colleges would have more people in the know about that prospect than we would.
Or do you think an LSU board would be the place to go for Spencer ware scoop rather than a Michigan board had he chosen Ohio state?
