And WHY do you believe LSU is out of the picture? Because of this board? I don't think anybody other than Malik Newman has any idea what he's going to do.

I agree. But maybe he wants to load up with the Stars at LSU and win a championship. I know thats what I would want to do in that situation. I mean he is a pro body anyway so if he really is good enough he will make it in the NBA regardless of how many minutes he gets next season.
Think about this, he wants to stay close to home for college, and he wants to compete for a championship. LSU is the perfect match.

I love these definitive statements: "Dude isn't coming here" Maybe not, but you have absolutely no clue at this point. I also love the "Most recruiting analysts believe LSU is out of the picture at this point". Recruiting analysts? What are they analyzing, his sock color? Malik hasn't hinted to anybody what he is doing. Anybody who claims to have inside scoop is speculating like the rest. Sit back, and see what he does. (Remember 5 for 5??? Those were vaunted "recruiting analysts" predicting that as well. It's all bullshite.)

Exactly and I guarantee Blakeney and Simmons have been staying on him about coming play in BR with them. No better recruiting than the #1 and #14 overall players in the country wanting you to play on the same team as them.
