Malcolm Brown, RB - 2011- Recruit him now!

This 16 yr old is the best running back I have ever seen in person. His offensive line has been suspect this year and he is still putting up gaudy numbers. A lot of his yards have been created on his own and he runs through tackles with power and speed. Just wait until you see his video from the runs he made this year. I am in awe when I watch this kid run. He has not gotten many touches this year because Steele has a great back-up, Alfonzo Trammell, and they are usually ahead after the first quarter. He has had over 20 carries in only 3 games this year. Stats: 166 carries, 1871 yards, 32 TDs, 11.27 per carry against some decent class 4A teams. He is an honors student and I hope this doesn't keep LSU from going after him. Where are you Porter? Here is a nice article about him today..LINK

Actually, his brother Keith, graduated from Steele 2 years ago and he is wearing his former number #28 in his honor. OU is on the list, but no school has been ruled out. Applewhite was down here a few weeks ago.

Not that LSU wouldn't try to get him because he is smart. I guess I didn't word that correctly.. San Antonio is a tough place for LSU to recruit without stepping on Mac's toes, just saying. Parsons is the first recruit we have gotten from the SA area to come to LSU in a long time. Malcolm will be the highest rated player to come out of SA, ever. Except maybe SHAQ.
FYI- Malcom's brother Keith is currently a Freshman RB at UIW, here in San Antonio, after 1 year of running track at Ole Miss. LINK

kid's damn impressive. I think it's gonna shape up to be another OU/UT recruiting battle. Texas is supposed to already be after him too. Not tryin to be a homer or anything. Those are just the two teams I know are going after him.
