Loston was ok, but no where near the days of Chad Jones and other great Safety's, which have been key.

Who is the most likely to emerge as a dominant safety ?

Voohies? Brown?

Who will be the hard hitting athletic Safety's for the LSU transition year in 2014, and in place for the National Championship title in 2015?

Who said that Brown was going to play safety? Are you trying to be cute?

Loston was ok

compared to even the likes of Steltz, he was not good…

went for the "ooohhh" hit too much, rather than wrapping up… took him 4 fricking years to figure it out… good thing we had his experience this year, but i think we were all hoping for so much more from him out of high school...

I kinda wonder if the rule change affected loston. His whole life he went for the KO and delivered it, but the past two years you could seem him thinking to much and not letting his instincts take over.

Pretty sure Tony Brown will play cb, not safety. If we end up with Devin Voorhies, John Battle, and Jamal Adams at safety, we'll be more than fine.

shoulda, coulda worked on his tackling technique….. had PLENTY of time to work that shite out…. Ronald Martin is gonna be a duplicate of him, i'm afraid…

I think Jefferson and Thompson will be the guys next year. And we rotate in whichever frosh is ready to go.

perhaps… i know Chavis likes his athletes and Martin is a much better athlete than Thompson is…

i wasn't really trying to imply that Martin WILL be the starter at SS, but rather making the comparison to Loston and his piss poor tackling technique..

Paris wants to play corner but said he would play anywhere. Most project him as a safety, but who knows
