If LSU signs Donte and gets 5-6 more 4 stars, they will probably be much higher in the 247 rankings.
Currently LSU is the 4th rated team in Rivals for points per player, which is the most important measure (assuming they sign enough players to keep their total team numbers high enough).

Crazy that this class has potential to be so good. Hold on to what we have and snag a few others and it might not matter who is coaching them. Hopefully the fans are more uncertain than the recruits are.

If we get Orgeron on staff I think we sign the two Mississippi kids visiting the last weekend before signing day with Leo Lewis and Jamal Peters.

Add those two guys to Donte Jackson, Tony Weathersby, Dylan Jackson, and Derrick Dillon. Then maybe one or two out of Charlot, Arden Key, Mark Fields and you have a great class.

We better hope we get someone who plays LB. Our depth there after next year is awful

Wait...so which one hates LSU?

While I would like to have both Charlot and Dillon, I think it would be a waste to sign two more WRs in this class. Hell, we don't need anymore, but I think we still get at least one.

I don't care about filling this to capacity. We have team needs.

OT, DE, OLB.

If we get Peters, we need to ask him if he is willing to play OLB. Leo Lewis is also a much needed ILB prospect. Dylan Jackson and Arden Key would have us finish with 3 DEs (although I think Key is a longshot). We need to convince Valentine at all costs, because he is our last chance at a true OT in this class.

Those five guys, and Donte Jackson now becomes even more of a wanted man, since I think Xavier Lewis will possibly flip to Texas, and we just lost Amadi.

I'd love if we finish with these six guys.

Assuming Beckwith leaves after next year, and assuming we take ~4 linebackers in the 2016 class, our depth at linebacker for 2016 looks like this...

Sam
Donnie Alexander (Jr)
(true freshman)
?

Mike
Clifton Garrett (Jr)
(true freshman)
?

Will
(true freshman)
(true freshman)
?

We absolutely need 3 linebackers in this class, but it's not going to happen.

Rivals average points is the ONLY thing I really think bears out over the most part. ESPN and 247 are much more hit and miss.

We need Mora Jr. to go NFL and Kenny Young to come back home. It didn't seem like a big miss last year but now everyone is sweating the linebacker depth and with good reason.

Lewis and McGuinis are 2 must haves still on the board
