How much is last night's performance going to hurt our chances of moving up in the rankings?

The game won't mean anything. The coaching shakeup will.

The game will matter very little. If we have major coaching movement without a plan in place to replace them, that may matter much more.

Sadly, it'll get worse before it gets better.

use 247 composite

but yeah the potential coaching changes have much greater ramifications than any single game will

If we lose Chavis, Haley, and Henry it will plunge our rankings to 30's.

I'm guessing there will be some fallout with players too and transferring and that will send a bad message to recruits as well.

it all depends on the replacement hire...going to have to pull someone from a big time program that will bring recruits with him to make up for any decommits

i will say this though, there won't be as many decommits as people think imo. just look at the past when coaches leave or fired, they normally don't lose much.

I mean we only have 4 defensive recruits committed..it's not like half the class will leave if Chavis does.

yep. henry leaving would be a lot more concerning, recruiting-wise, than Chavis

It's more an issue of who we'll lose interest from. Mack will almost definitely go to A&M. Phillips won't come here, I'd guess, which could lead to a decommit from Amadi and put us out for Justin Martin and Dylan Jackson.

We'll see though. We need a good hire and we need it quick.
