How does everyone think the younger DT's have come along, such as Ferguson and Johnson? I think that Ferguson has come along nicely, and see some serious snaps in the near future.

Ferguson will be a good one down the road i believe. Just needs to continue gaining strength and getting reps. I think we all know Johnson will be a monster.

Quentin Thomas who is redshirting is a big dude. Physically he will remind ppl of brockers just with his size. curious to see how he pans out.

He looks every bit of 6'4". He looks pretty damn tall in person. And he will continue gaining weight.

yeah, i fudged a little bit on Mickey Johnson.

I assume since he is 310 that he will be the firehydrant of the group and add arse much weight as he functionally can.

however, after reading about how moffit trimmed these fellas down, maybe they'll put him at 290 or so.

^yea that's what I was thinking as well looking at that list. Im thinking after next year we could have a lot of spots to fill on that line with the early departures.

I would at least like to see Mingo stay. I think brockers and montgomery in my mind would prob be gone.

agreed... as good as this years D is, i think next year is gonna be sick.

Throw in a pro style QB with some skills = another 'ship!
I dont think there's any way LSU doesnt get at least 1 BCS title in this 3 year stretch. 2 is very possible.

And to think we might ad Dante Fowler or Mario Edwards to this group... Zoinks!

Hope so. But ultimately I see them going to FSU to play for underachieving teams instead of playing for championships at LSU

I too think that Quentin Thomas will be a good one. I've heard reports that he has really impressed people at practice. I would really like to see Mickey Johnson play next year, because I think he could destroy some lineman. They won't be able to get any leverage on him. It sucks that the state of LA is down on DT's this year and next. We definitely need at least two in next year's signing class depending on how this year goes.

I think Quentin Thomas is probably close to 300 lbs now just by looking at him. He came in at about 275-280. He can definitely be 300 by next season. He looks like he carries the weight well too

It is. But it appears likely that we will lose Claiborne. That will be a big loss, and will need another CB to step up. I'm hoping Jalen Collins is as good as I think he is going to be. The LB position will continue to be a position of weakness especially losing Baker, and will need someone to step up there too.
