It's been a very long time since I've seen so many out of state 5-star recruits have LSU in their final five or six. Wade is doing work on the trail!

any updates on potential players to join the team for this fall? in CWW's last interview it sounded like he may not be done yet for a transfer or another late addition

Hopefully Bill Whittle and Collis Temple give him the special Primerica sales presentation ;)

According to Scout, Naz's girlfriend plays on the LSU women's team. He is here this weekend, and they expect Smart to be here on an unofficial. They will workout together and with the team

Wade has already done an outstanding job as a recruiter in the short time he has been there, but this would be ridiculous if he were to pull Reid and Smart. He should be given an award for such a feat ! Lol

With the talent he would have assembled if he gets these two along with what's left from J Jones team. He not only would be a lock to make the NCAA's, but make it to the Final Four imo.

Yep, Raven Farley Clark. She was also a 5 star. 6'4 post player. If her and Naz have kids they're gonna be monsters.

I'm a little confused on the list. It says commitments and has Naz Reid listed. He didn't commit from what I know

LSU really isn't looking at Greg Williams. UL-Lafayette is going after him very very hard, but Greg, Sr. thinks Greg, Jr. is too good of an athlete for UL.

Sounds like Jalyn Patterson leaving the program but unclear if he's going to count against this year's limit. He's redshirting and trying to finish up next May.

This is from Worsham:

Wade now has two scholarships available for the 2017-18 season, should Patterson’s be taken off the books, which is a possibility. One could be filled by Oregon transfer Kavell Bigby-Williams, pending an investigation into a sexual assault allegation at his junior college.

Could we get back in the mix on the duo transferring from UMass?

The whole Patterson situation seems odd. But IDK how or why LSU would need to cover his scholarship. He wants to graduate but not play basketball? If he wanted to graduate to transfer why didn't he just shut up for a year, play limited minutes, then transfer?

It seems to me he wasn't willing to put in the work and if he isn't willing, then Wade won't want him around the team.

It is a bit confusing. I know he can transfer directly to another D1 school if he graduates. I also know if he doesn't play or isn't on the team it can be classified as a redshirt year.

The whole situation is strange. If he's not gonna play here, then why not transfer somewhere and sit a year? My only guess is this late in the process there's not a ton of schools with scholarships available. If he leaves the team he can likely have more contact with other schools as well.
