Looking at these stats, no distinct advantage for 'Bama RE: Fournette

J. Hill - 175 carries, 1185 yards, 14 TDs
T. J. Yeldon - 190 carries, 1163 yards, 13 TDs
Yes, Hill touched the ball a little less, but racked up more yards and an additional TD. And I think the Tigers played more RBs than 'Bama. If so, I think it makes the numbers more impressive.
I would think this favors LSU...at least I'm hoping LF thinks so.
Maybe my P&G glasses are getting in the way...

up until Saban besides Shuan Alexander name me a famous SEC RB from Bama?
I'll name you 3 with relative ease in SEC record books from LSU

I agree with the second post! Regardless, he clearly sees that he will get more touches as a Tiger with Hill, Blue and Hillard moving on! I cant wait to see Magee and Fournette in the backfield! WOW!

Well Mark Ingram has been a complete bust in New Orleans, injured or not! And this season, Richardson has been benched and had a slow year. Good point!
The best back of the three most recent is looking like Eddy Lacie! And then, even he wont put up great numbers as a Packer!

Have you seen BOL? Fournette is going to Bama. We are wasting our time here. All is lost.

Still blows my mind that Hill racked up that much yardage. I feel like he hardly played this year

Oh. But Saban is there, right?
Dennis Riddle up the Middle.
Kenneth Darby, Shawn Williams, Glen Coffee - played for but wasn't recruited by Saban.
Sorry, I was born in the late 80's. That's all I got. But I'm sure there are plenty of other great ones.

People keep bringing up Eddie Lacy but he a bust IMO. He 1 hit away from being out.
Bama backs are overrated.

Lacey is injury prone like a mofo. Dude's not gonna last 3 years.

Yeah!
The entire Alabama football running back community is a bunch of busts!!!
Freaking posers acting like they dominate the line of scrimmage in the world of college football!
Busts, BUsts, BUSts, BUSTs, BUSTS!!!
Not even a has been, they're a never was!

What does it matter how Bama used their running backs before Saban? The only thing that matters is Miles, Saban and what they are doing now. Bama is loaded at RB. LF would be foolish to go there and split time with Derrick Henry.

I see what you did there.

WTF does this have to do with anything? Would this prevent LF from being successful at Bama?

that's what happens when a dude consistently rips off 30-40-50+ yard runs

truth...but his own stupidity (pre-season) and hard headedness (in-season) cost him those touches. Magee's emergence and his disciplined ability to hit the right hole helped to put Hill on the sideline. Jeremy is an incredably talented rb with a huge ceiling but sooner or later he has got to understand that the only thing holding him back is his decision making. I would love to see him man-up and play one more year as payback for the perseverance and loyalty that LSU, the staff and Louisiana has shown him. whatever happens...I want the best for Jeremy Hill.

Then you are hopelessly biased. He is currently 10th in the league in rushing, on track for an 1100 yd rookie season. In no way is that a bust, espeically for a late 2nd round pick.

So are the other 1700 players in the league
ETA everyone said Peterson was "injury" prone when he came out. Time will tell on Lacy but so far he's been pretty good.

I have no inside scope here but I just don't see this happening.
