Does anyone realize he did not make the team as a QB. He made it as an athlete. Just saying "pump the brakes" on all these comparisons. It is still quite an honor and I hope he surpasses all the comparisons, but Jeez.

kid can ball.....he looks btr and more poised than the others on the fd in these highlights, very same way he left the 2015 season and the dome gm. He just looks like a much btr ath. then most of the guys on the fd and plays that way...
kid has a very mature understanding of the game for 17/18 which is nice at the qb position.. hoping for the best

That's what happens when they are trying to get extra QBs on these lists. Notice Brandon Mcllwain (South Carolina signee) is also on the list as an ATH. People that follow recruiting now that McIIwain is a highly ranked QB. I do agree though with caution in comparing these guys to pro players. Let's face it, it's just a reference point.
