Let's put all of our eggs in the Ego basket

We need D-linemen and this guy sounds like he's forreal. I know we're going after him, but is he the top priority right now? Maybe he should be, especially with the size to potentially make a move to the inside at some point.

Pretty sure one of his main stipulations is playing DE. And i'm pretty sure we're in the top 2/3....if not his #1, currently.

He's definitely LSU's number 1 prospect on the ENTIRE board. He is not a DE he is a DT. He understands that. He has a great relationship with Coach Haley, as his father and Brick have a history together. He went to Hargrave this year to experience life away from home. That can only help LSU's situation. I don't believe OU is a possibility because frankly it would be total culture shock to a kid like him.
ND, Miami, South Carolina and N Carolina are the teams LSU is battling for his signature.
ND's recent situation certainly isn't hurting LSU's chances any.
He is a kind of home body/ family kid. Something that Les is great with. He's not a kid that wants to go out and party every night.
He is adjusting to college life going to Hargrave, waking up early going to sleep early, study periods, military drills. I'd say LSU, NC, and SC are all going to battle it out for this kids signature.

I believe he went to HS for a time in Maryland, St. Johns Christians HS ? Maybe, from what I can recall.
Has a mother in or near Miami, which is the connection with them.
But with Brick and his father being close, I think the Ferguson's would not have a problem sending their boy off to a school in Louisiana with a close friend of the family being a coach there.

He has stated in earlier talks with teams that he wanted to play DE but I think he is starting to get the idea that all these coaches think he is going to play inside.Very athletic for a guy his size. Hope we get him.
