LSU offered a ninth grader? He may be great, but who knows in 4 years. What is next, scouting the pee wees.

He's 6'0" 210 lbs as a freshman ...he may grow into a DE or LB.

He's not playing againts scrubs...there's no doubt he'll be good...provided he doesn't have any serious injuries.

He must be very good and smart for the coaching staff to have that kind of confidence in his athletics and academics over the next four years.

You do realize it is a verbal offer and can be retracted at any time?

Well considering that some middle school kids have already been getting lots of attention from D-1 programs since before Chris Leak.............perhaps Pee Wees is next.

No kidding. It is not like it is a binding contract. This is simply the highest form of flattery/interest that can be shown at this point in the process. Happy to see it.

This guy breaks tackles effortlessly.

I don't have a problem with this as long as it it is done carefully and only once in a while. I like the kind of pub this will generate for the program among all freshmen and sophomore Louisiana kids.

No doubt he physically matured more quickly than most teens, but he may not grow much more.
