Who said anything about Florida?
Y'all might want to look further West than Texas as well.

If you look at the depth charts of LSU and Alabama, its a no brainer. Fournette will have a clearer path and less competition to start at LSU as a freshman. They're basically holding the spot for him. That being said, I think talent wise, Fournette is as good as any running back on Alabama's roster, including TJ Yeldon, so even if he went there, he could see the field in some capacity next year.

It has been scientifically proven that worrying will solve most if not all problems. I am sure if we could just get everyone on the board to worry out loud and at once, we could be successful in getting LF. to commit on the spot to LSU. Now the Bamsters never worry they know they are the best and if a guy doesn't commit to them he wasn't good enough to make the Jack cut that Saban has offered. And they really didn't want him anyway. I learned a lot by reading this board.

Recruiting is not a draft. If it were, we would just pick our players. Instead, we have threads like this worrying about if other schools will out recruit us.

Clear?

I have heard USCw, but don't know how heavy that interest is, or if its just for a free trip

you shouldn't. He's gotten 1 big time player from La we really pressed and put up a fight for.

No, well according to BOL maybe

ESPN may have ranked Tim Williams #1 in 2013, I'm not sure, but everyone else ranked Tre White #1. Per Rivals since Saban started at Bama in 2007 only twice has the #1 prospect in La not signed with LSU. Joe McKnight who went to USC and Landon Collins who signed with Bama. The other guy's Bama has gotten, like Lacy were not guys LSU fought for, for what ever reason. Williams, like Lacy, may turn out to be a good player, but LSU did not seem to really press for either in the end.

With the group of backs Bama just brought in with this draft class and still having Yeldon and Foster there I think that plays a lot into his decision. After this season we lose Blue and if Hill goes too then Fournette comes here and starts from day one IMO. That wouldnt be the case at Bama. Too much competition.

Why would someone as good as LF five 2 shits about competition? If he is the best he will play. Period.

And he probably will be.

Let's see here dumbass..... Best running back (arguably) in the country. Wants to play in
SEC at one of best schools in football (LSU). Lives in south (La.). Book it - He will be playing in the SEC. More than likely LSU. However, Ala. is the reigning 2 time BCS national champion. Everyone should at least consider the Tide and feel worthy and happy to get an invite to be part of their program. LSU is arguably the best football progam over the past 10 years under Les Miles. If we ever get a national caliber QB we'll be winning national titles again. Perilloux was the start of the dynasty but Miles pulled the plug on him so hopefully Mett can get the job done in 2013 and then the Cali kid or some dual-threat QB can take us to the promised land in 2014 - w Fournette leading the way. Geuax Tigers! It's time again.....

There is only 1 ball to go around and best is a relative term. Guys like Yeldon and Henry are also great, so it is doubtful he would just beat them out and get the majority of the carries from day 1. Where as at LSU he would at worst likely be #2 on the depth chart from day 1 and even if Hill and Hilliard return in 2014 (I think odds are better both are gone) Fournette is probably better than both.
