If LSU can put on a good weekend for him, there's a chance...as of now, yeah....state is in the lead.

Can't hurt to try, but he's not expected to leave the state. He actually lives closer to Baton Rouge than Oxford or Starkville, so I guess that's a positive.

Not at all; however, Baton Rouge is actually closer than Starkville. His uncle lives here. He also grew up watching LSU. It isn't exactly THAT big of a surprise he's coming here now that he's not committed anymore. This weekend will need to be a big hit for him for us to have a chance, but it's definitely a lot more realistic than people seem to think.

Would love to see Leo at LSU, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him go to Moo State

Matt Womack was an Ole Miss lean, almost a lock just a week ago and look what happened. I doubt Leo comes here, but hey....I guess anything is possible. I'll never underestimate the mind of a 17 year old, especially after last year's charades.

Considering how easy it is to qualify academically, it blows my mind every time I read that.

State fans feel like he's a heavy lean to MSU, but I could see the dynamics changing if Muffin screws their big season up.

This kid is the next big time linebacker. Have been wanting him since before he blew up on the recruiting sites. Would be a great pickup for the program and would establish a reputation for our linebacker corps for years to come.

Aren't there some new rules going into effect soon about having a certain amount of classes finished before SR year that is going to make last minute qualifying nearly impossible?

Yes, but I believe it's being applied to this year's highschool freshmen and below so they have time to adjust. Don't quote me on that.

A lot of momentum with Leo Lewis right now. I think things changed when Les went to go see him play. Frank Wilson also doing work.
