Set Big 12 record for most receiving TDs in a single game. Still think we shouldn't haveoffered this kid???

Nope

Still shouldn't have offered

Would matter if we don't have a wr coach to teach routes and catching or a QB to get him the ball

Am I doing this right?

He would've looked totally different in our offense and in our conference. Wouldn't have broken any receiving records, that's for sure.

No way LSU runs or executes anything close to that, that would get him in in space to make plays. We have poor blocking on the perimeter, nobody consistently catches, the QB is late on half his throws and under throws most his deep shots, and it seems like the only time we have a checkdown option, is on 3rd down, and even then the QB acts like he doesn't exist.

Probably would have offered if they weren't so sure they'd flip Derrick Dillon from Florida. They're kind of the same type of player.

OP- why does him having success at TCU mean that LSU should have offered the guy?

An LSU offer or no offer is not the deciding factor on if a player is good or will have success.

This reminds me of the little wr out of Destrehan a while back who was breaking all kinds of records at Tulsa (Demaryous something).

What makes you think it would've made a difference in regards to where he wound-up?

He's a little guy. Our receivers need to be able to block(somewhat) He'd never see the field here.(maybe special teams) He and LSU mutually made the right decision.

List the last LSU player to catch 4 TDs in a game against any opponent.

It's great for him but Texas has true freshman all in that secondary and quit in the 1st quarter. And JJ I'm too lazy to do that.

Maybe I'm not that lazy looks like Tony Moss in 89.

Oh Texas sucks, just saying It's been 26 years since LSU did what he did yesterday.

I have to disagree... Saw him in high school with Diarse and Hootie. Noticed Diarse as a straight up pure football player, but Turpin was the most explosive guy on the field ever game he was in. Only really noticed Hootie due to his size and hype honestly.

That's not a fair comparison. I don't think we've thrown for 4 TDs this entire season, much less in one game. That would be like asking who the last TCU HB was that ran for 200 yards in 3 consecutive games (I know, I know. It's LT, I think)
