He admitted that this commitment is only to "hold" a spot and that he still plans on taking all of his officials. I appreciate him for being transparent. But even if he commits to the good guys, we should not consider him as a lock.

Such a discrepancy with the rankings on this guy. Number 35 CB on 247 but number 2 CB on ESPN

Haha, you could not be more wrong. Playing corner requires technique and instinct. Speed is just one component, and no where near the most important. There have been many great corners who were not particulatly fast. And there have been many guys with world class speed, and all the measurables, but couldn't play corner.

So wrong
This is like saying a great looking woman can easily be trained to be an actress. It's bullshite. Playing cornerback requires great aptitude as well as great talent. This guy has one of the two. If he has the other he can become a great corner. If he doesn't he never will. NEVER!
All the coaches can do is take a guy who has enough talent and aptitude and teach him better technique to marginally improve his game.
The best example of this is a wide receiver the Saints drafted in the first round - 7th overall - in 1975. His name was Larry Burton. He was "so fast, the Saints would make him into a great wide receiver". The guy was as fast as advertised, but he had no business being in the NFL. They couldn't make him into a serviceable wide receiver or defensive back.
