Huge get for Nicholls State. Coach Rebowe is really doing nice things down here already. He already has like 5 or 6 commits for next year and that never happens here

I would hit LSU hard for kids that will never see playing time at LSU.

Good deal. I was hoping one or all of the trio that transferred from LSU to Southeastern would've came to Nicholls.

Hopefully this gets them going.

Nicholls State will not get out recruited by in state FCS schools anymore. Rebowe is the real deal. They will win in 3 years.

Rebowe is hitting the bayou, river and NOLA hard. The Poindexter kid from CL committed to them is a D1 caliber player. If he played for Hahnville, Desty or ESJ, schools known for producing talent he'd have a number of D1 offers already. He's much better than the CB from Central that signed with Texas Tech a few years ago.

He is no fool. He knows this is where he will win or lose. You have to convince these kids to come to Nicholls. Stubbs ran this already sinking ship into the freaking ground.

What happened to him with LSU? Could he just not get to a point where he was going to be on the two deep? He was pretty highly considered when he was recruited wasn't he?

He was not going to see significant playing time and he already graduated. He went somewhere he could be a starter to experience college football for 1 season. I'm proud of him and wish him the best.

Stopped and watched them practice yesterday. He diffidently added size to their offensive line

Over all they look pretty good. Good size all around on the team for this year. Looks like a lot of athletic players.

Yea I never understood why brandon got that offer too bad he made nothing of it I'm pretty sure that he never step foot on Tech's campus after high school

I mean I can see why he got offered. He was 6'1 and a legit 4.45 guy, and was only 165 lbs so had plenty of potential to get bigger and better. Poindexter though has better hands, better ball skills, is a better tackler and just a more instinctual football player.

Your right Brandon didn't make it to Texas Tech's campus, but I'm proud of him. When he got offered it looked like he wouldn't even graduate high school, but he buckled down and did. Tech signed and placed him at a JUCO and he earned a degree there so he did make a little something of it.

Just wanted to add. Poindexter matched up against 8 D1 receivers last year Daylon Charlot, Mykel Jones, Kirk Merrit, John Williams, Rickey Preston, Brandon Singleton, Jarrod Jackson, Tyler Addison. He gave up a total of 4 catches for 55 yards to all those guys. He was on Jackson & Singleton the entire game and shut them down.
