Although I'm very encouraged by the energy and positive vibes CEO has brought to the program, I'm waiting until the season plays out to get too excited...we need a steady hand at the controls...consistency of quality performances...not just wins vs. loses(although that's most important), but how the team fights and grits out games for 60 minutes...I think we can win all but one game...the evil empire has too much quality depth on the DL(maybe more than some NFL teams)to count on a win vs. Shorty, but if we finish up this class right, we will in great shape moving forward...jmho

LSU can recruit when it's established

Any top coach would bring in great talent here I believe

Look at the class they brought in even after the Miles stuff

Look at it now

They get Herman or Fisher and they still reload top 5 classes

It just depends who LSU can get. If they can get those two I think even coach O would understand.. unless he did run the table

The problem is this...the OL and DL are not as good as the evil empire...but Coach O and Grimes have got us headed in the right direction...one more class and we'll be OK I think...It may be too much to ask CEO be expected to beat Shorty this year...but I hope that I am very wrong...we don't even come close to matching them in DL depth...all 3 strings of their DL is as good or better than our 1st string...

The long post about players recruiting.. ones gotta be Moses.. but who knows.. a lot of the post made little sense. We need O to lock in this class. 4-1 he's prolly in. 3-2 with a win vs Bama might do it during this gauntlet.. if he struggles maybe he stays on as dline coach. Then we get Herman possibly and keep O. I want this staff and this class so I'm pulling for O

Need pure OT, young men who have played the pos at a high level in HS. The loss of both OT's last season has been profound. Right now it looks like we have some G's playing OT, and a OT playing C. Understand you play the hand your dealt, but recruiting kids like Deculus, and others like him, will really make this OL great again. Sorry about the pun...

DL depth is really coming around. Finishing with another strong crop of DL this cycle will have the DEF set up for success. Next season, returners alone should include: Loc, Gilmore, Clark, Herron, Alexander, Lawrence, and Logan.

What is wrong with you? Could you be more bitter?

It is in fact a prediction.. He's much more knowledgeable than you I am sure. This is what he does.. he covers recruiting..

Why did you feel the need to make this comment?

Experienced depth, sure. However, the freshman class is extremely talented and could prove to have some absolutes studs in it.
Additionally, Arden Key is probably the most gifted of them all.
Devon G. would start for anyone in the nation, including Bama.
Neal would receive significant time.

So yes, while our Dline might not have the experienced depth, they have as many talented players.

Pretty much impossible to predict this class with any real accuracy right now.
I think that's very true. Just crossing fingers all the further surprises will be positive one's.

Agree with many here, Akers and Allen plus Buggs would be huge.

DE has not been our weak spot this year...but DT has been weak at times...I'm not sold on either TV or Gilmore...they take plays off...sometimes get pushed all over the place...very soft at times...jmho

You're a goddamn fool if you think Tim Williams is marginally better than Key. You're just fricking delusional if you think he's way better

Key will be a top 3 pick. If Williams is "way better" he would not still be playing for Alabama this year. He is a great pass rusher and that is it.

Williams will be an early 1sat round pick this year. Guess we'll have to wait and see on Key. so you say Key will be drafted higher than Williams will be in their respective drafts?

No question. Key is a much more complete player and has proven to be an elite pass rusher. Possibly even better than Tim Williams.

If we can get one of Moses or Allen to go with queen, it'll be hard to complain with the coaching changes
Queen may end up at safety. Dude is a beast everywhere you stick him. I don't know if he has the frame to get to 245 or so and maintain his speed.
