He visited them recently and Franks is a pretty firm commitment.

It's always important to panic on a predication 368 days before next years signing day.

Shea likes what Hugh is selling him. Right now there is also a chance Shea's brother gets hired to a paid position there. LSU has no spots to offer a guy who is an unproven coach on their staff, nor can they just create one.

There is a long way to go until NSD 2016. I wouldn't panic yet on SP.

Ole Miss offense does suit his game, but i'm pretty sure our staf will do everything they can to get him to BR.

His brother was at Arizona he committed there
LSU hired him, he dropped that commitment and opened recruitment
Ole Miss wants him, don't be shocked if his brother gets a job with Ole Miss sometime in the near future because I don't think LSU is putting him on staff just to get a commitment
Based on the two LSU is in on - Franks has a higher upside, I think Patterson is what you see is what you get - he probably would fit pretty well in that Ole Miss offense. I don't know that LSU is the right fit if LSU continues to run the offense they run.

Patterson is a great fit in Cam's offense being a pro style QB from what I've read. Apparently one of the most polished QBs in recent years coming out of high school.

.

They could just create a position, e.g. Assistant Deputy Offensive Quality Control Director. They have done it with a bunch of other non-coaching coaches.

I'm not very worried about 2016 at the moment. It is encouraging that it is reported to be a great class in LA. A lot things happen in a years time. OM had a very good year for them and doesn't seem to be recruiting this year as well as they expected.

None of them will sign until the NSD in 2016. LSU will get at least one of them.

Exactly. LSU will be improved this coming season and Ole Miss will be back at the bottom of the SEC West. Not to worried.

He has a paid position at LSU and Ole Miss hasn't fired any of the assistant coaches they have on staff. So if they do offer him a job, most likely it will be similar to what he's doing at LSU. At best that's a lateral move, but not when you consider Cameron's success at coaching NFL QB's.

Plus people need to realize that Sean Patterson was hired at LSU because of his potential as a coach. He could very well have a long successful coaching career. Sean choose LSU over several big schools.

Some insiders seem to think Freeze is trying to make a path for Sean that would be a vertical move. That seems to be the only way him and his brother aren't at LSU at this point.
