All the momentum #LSU appeared to have on the recruiting trail seems to be lost. Could be a bumpy 8 weeks, folks.

Would love if he could elaborate.
Certainly concerning but things change quickly, momentum could be regained in the time it took him to go from optimistic to pessimistic (about a week, if I recall correctly the time of his last update).

Makes sense. People may have been expecting a HR HC hire, and those same people may have been expecting to know who the OC was by now.
I think our defensive commits are solid...the offense will remain a mystery until we hire someone.

There's a ton of immediate need guys out there in this state that if we lose would be a pretty big deal. The staff needs to work it's arse off the next few months. The hard sell is how do you get kids to come play for O when you've basically become the laughing stock of the SEC?

I wouldn't describe already committed recruits saying that are not going to decommitt as "momentum"

Dumb. Recruiting shouldn't be a spectator sport. The bottom line is who you sign on NSD. "Momentum" or "lack of momentum" ... huh? Judge the class based upon who signs on the dotted line on NSD. I don't care if a particular recruit announces in a particular neat way, or suspenseful. Once the OC is named, we will get more offensive commits.
