Malachi Dupre looks to have more potential than Reuben Randle.

Wow thats saying a lot IMO

Watch his highlights. RR was a QB that moved to WR in college. MD is a pure receiver that has those "Jimmy Graham" basketball skills for catching the ball in traffic.

Not saying anything bad about RR but really just pointing out MD's potential.

True dat. Trai Turner is about 6'2 and he's a straight beast.

best case scenario for LSU imo, and would be a really well-rounded group of receivers. two slots, two splits and one complete animal.

add jacory washington and possibly voorhies...unbelievable.

It's encouraging to hear all the recruiting analysts talk about how good a spot LSU is in. I mean Dupre, Quinn, Blacknall, Noil, Willis, Robinson, Garrett, Brumfield, Hardeman etc. Just one good player after another that are distinct possibilities for LSU.

Can't say enough about how great the Cam Cameron hire was, not to mention the timing was perfect also. The offensive skill position talent in Louisiana is off the charts this class.

RR was a WR that moved to QB his senior year at bastrop due to the graduation of the privious QB

Randle attended Bastrop High School in Bastrop, Louisiana, where he played both wide receiver and quarterback in his senior year due to the graduation of quarterback Randall Mackey. Randle connected on 166 of 274 passes (60.6 completion percentage) for 2,442 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also rushed for a team-high 680 yards and 12 scores.[3]

As a junior, Randle had 55 receptions for 1,058 yards and 11 touchdowns, earning him a Class 4A All-Louisiana designation as a junior. His sophomore year, when Bastrop won the state championship, Randle had 14 catches for 433 yards and seven touchdowns.[4]

Wow Randle was super talented.

Upchurch is that strong, physical WR we need next year. You can also split Upchurch at RB some with Fournette Hilliard Magee Brazil, and hopefully Shorter.

Says he's a little short to play guard or tackle plus being short and stubby helps against 3-4 nose tackles that are built like tree stumps.
He's a legitimate 6'4". Not hardly short and stubby. And he's only 16 yrs old. He will be about 6'6" once he's finished growing (which is my height). And if they use him as a center, then so be it. But, it won't be because he's too short to play guard or tackle! Some of the listed heights and weights on various sites are not updated often and are from some time ago. As of today he's 6'4" 285 lbs.

I'm amazed how "analysts" figure what position a kid may play based on size. Center is more about feet than anything else, so if Garrett winds up there, it won't be because if his size. You grab the best football players you can find and you turn em loose. Too often it's over thought out. Give me 77 in short yardage and I'm winning 90% of them, regardless what position he's playing.

This ....plus Center is a position people undervalue often...it is probably the most important position on the O-Line, quite honestly.

For the record, that isn't my quote. Just clearing that up.

Anyone have any information about Voorhies? Is he still being looked at as a WR?

Just for the record apparently Brunfield is fundamentally sound and has great footwork as well. At least that's what the talking heads say.

Do you think Upchurch's offer is conditional on Williams not making it?
