Maybe Les Miles is looking for some advice from the Recruiting Board?

Forget "every down".
Dont make it into a problem for his ego.
Let him enjoy his snaps and do his best.

Gore's ceiling is Garrett Wolfe. And Wolfe carried some big loads in college against the likes of Michigan and Ohio State. So can he? It is certainly possible.

Expect him to play a Trindon role in the offense.

somewhat, but Gore is a very good inside runner despite his size. He's a bit more like the Oregon St. RB from Texas that lit up USC the year before last

Does that mean his floor is Shyron Carey?

he's already got 20 pounds on Trindon.

Gore is small but he's well put together. Not as well put together as MJD, but if he could pack on some more weight, he could endure more of a pounding.

But in all likelihood he'll be more of a scat/change of pace back.

I think the running style is different Shyrone tried too hard to be Barry Sanders while his weight ballooned up for a short RB. I used Wolfe has an example because Wolfe was more about acceleration and running instincts than agility, IMO. That is what I see when I see Gore's film. Production wise though, Shyron isn't a bad basement/floor to have.

I'm guessing the he's too small comment is a joke??? If not, that gets a bit tiresome. Being a great RB is not all about size and speed it is more about vision, toughness, and work-ethic...
Thurman Thomas- 5'10 and one of the smallest RBs in his draft class.
Barry Sanders- 5'8
Kevin Faulk- 5'8
Walter Payton- 5'10 and never ran faster than a 4.6

he has similar measurables as addai did coming into the program. except i think addai was listed as 5'11. speed weight and ability to cathc the ball are very similar.

now addai is listed as 6'0 200 something. shite changes in four to five years. i grew an inch and gained 40 pounds in college.
