I know many are excited about Jacory's performance last week at the UAAAG, and rightfully so, but we have more reason to be proud of this young man. JW became a Big Brother to a little boy that was terminally ill with cancer and after the boy passed, along with a teacher at Westlake, organized a toy drive for terminally ill children. He delivered them on Christmas Day to the Houston Children's Hospital. He asked the teacher to keep quiet about his involvement because he didn't want any credit or notoriety.

I'm stoked to be getting this kind of young man to represent LSU!

That's the kind of character guys you want around the program. Looking forward to watching this young man play!

I also know why his Senior Year's stats weren't as impressive as he expected, but I really don't want to go into much detail, but sometimes when a new coach comes into a new situation, he feels he has to prove his power by "breaking" the best player. Punishing a kid because he misses a school 7 on 7 game to go to a UA Combine to earn a spot in the AA game is downright vindictive and petty. JW was invited to "The Opening," but didn't go because of 7 on 7, so it's not like he was being selfish. Anyway, I probably said too much! Sorry about the link, I suck at this, but its at WholeHogSports, from Sept, 2013.

JW
The character of these guys in this class just might surpass their athletic ability. And since this might be the most physically talented team that has ever signed, that is saying a lot.

Wow. That's a true sign of doing things the right way. EXTREMELY impressive for a young man of his age.

My wife is from westlake and this story is very real and very true.
The only thing keeping this kid from being an all time great is hard work and I know that won't be an excuse in the end. Expect great things!

Its a fight that's probably best not being fought on this website, as it could lead to greater hardship on said player. However, if it were to be fought here, I'm in.

Please fix the link, I'd really love to read the story. It's really easy to do. Copy the url of the article and just paste it on the message. Don't write anything else, just paste the link.
