1. Donte Jackson, CB – Jackson looked five-starish on Monday. He has an Adoree' Jackson skill set and like Jackson he made plays on both sides of the ball. He was the most natural cornerback and had the best break on the football. Whe he swung over to the offensive side of the ball, he won every rep we saw.

Please, Frank.. Do not allow this kid to leave state!

Just checked 247 and came here to post on that (actually did post in the other thread).

Many so many weapons. I said the same thing about Jackson being the Jackson we missed out on last year, but I think Donte could be the even better Jackson.

Henry, Cam, and Raymond need to stay on him once the dead period is over.

I know it's not LSU related, but that vine is just scary. McKenzie makes it look like he's just going up against some average high school o-lineman

Wow, I want Jackson badly. Probably would rank him as the 2nd player on my want list behind Mack Truck..

Can't teach that kind of speed and explosiveness

Actually, probably will have to play against him in Atlanta.

Defense

1. Kyle Phillips , DE – Like Thompson, Phillips was not taking a passive approach to Tuesday's practice. He was there to work and he became one of the day's biggest headaches for offensive linemen. Phillips' speed off the edge at 260 pounds was almost unfair. If he didn't beat the lineman in front of him outright, his motor and speed in pursuit allowed him to get there eventually.

Working on goal-line packages, four-star running backs Chris Warren and Ohio State commit Michael Weber were both productive while LSU bound running back Derrius Guice shined in the passing game.

Donte Jackson : What can be said about the potential future five-star today that wasn’t said in yesterday’s practice report? The New Orleans (La.) Riverdale standout has the best hips of all the defensive backs, looks like the fastest player on the field and is just so natural as a cornerback. Jackson didn't lose a rep and left the field with several pass break-ups. Ranked by 247Sports as the nation’s No. 2 athlete, Jackson also caught a couple touchdown passes when he moved to offense during 1-on-1s.

Sounds like Jackson could be getting a 5 star bump, and if Guice could show out during the game, he will be getting a bump as well.

Im very concerned that this Chavis and Brick deal may cost us Philips and Donte Jackson. Willing to bet that T Johnson goes to Oklahoma State. Have a hard time believing that DD is going to decommit and come to this BS passing game that weve displayed. Think he would have a better chance waiting and seeing how Mcelwain changes Florida offense instead.

Guice already has 5 stats or do you mean get a bump in rankings

bump in rankings could push him to a composite 5 star instead of just on Rivals.

IMO the DBs should be thinking more about Coach Raymond instead of Chavis.

If we lose Chavis AND Haley, I think we are SOL with Phillips and Mack. That probably means out of the running for Lewis as well.

This is some bullshite though. We need a homerun hire to ride out this storm.
