Sure to be a stud. Everything I am reading says he is in the running for the #1 recruit.

Anyone know why he isn't on the list of participants for the camp.

His recruitment will probably be a long dragged out affair like Randle and McKnight. I sure hope he ends up here though. I would find it hard to believe we could ever lose out on an in state DE with our track record of putting them in the NFL.

That Deon Simon kid looked good in that video also. I see he committed to UCF.

Let's give Anthony Johnson some props too. Acting like he doesn't exit won't get him to change his commitment.

"Rasco added that he did not grow up a fan of any school and didn't really watch college football except for watching some Baylor games when his cousin played there." that doesn't help

Rasco is a Texas lock. I know for a fact the ECA coaching staff doesnt really support LSU ever since the Booty situation. Hester is really the only kid that came on schollie from ECA.

Byron Dawson the Defensive coordinator graduated from LSU in 2003 so you would think we had a pipeline.

I am hoping that I am wrong and Rasco comes to LSU but some former players have all said Rasco wants to go to Texas.

You are wrong, Texas people think they have a chance, but that LSU has a better chance.

Well, its not like Texas has much leverage on LSU, far as d-lineman go. Especially the past several years. If you were offered by both, sitting same distance from each and wasn't a fan of either, who would you choose? LSU. They've developed lineman better than Texas and have brought the big pay day for the NFL, which is all that matters. Who has been relevant for them past few years? I guess you could say the guy recently drafted but he was a hybrid. No telling how Rasco will fill out.

I am not diagreeing with eitehr of guys and I hope I am worng I am going by what some of the guys who just graduated stated. I mean they are close to Rasco and the coaches are not working on Kids for LSU. I know for a fact that he has said that Texas is the leader. Things could change and like you said it makes more sense to go to LSU but trust me when it comes to ECA adn John Curtis I dont put any stock into there kids going to LSU.

He may have had Texas over LSU 6 months ago, but he doesn't now. Not saying LSU has a huge lead, but we are at worst a co-#1. He's been on our campus more, he actually has an offer from LSU, and noone is giving him more attention than Miles is.

He is not a Texas lock and that is a fact. LSU has moved way up after Les' visit with he and his Mom.

You guys are right about the LOCK thing. Those are strong words and its really hard to find locks anymore. But I disagree with teh co #1 thing. I think that Texas is the leader. I will say this my information came after the dome versus JC last december. So like you said Les may have changed the game up.

His defensive coordinator(who hes really close to), played DT under Dinardo. His name is Byron Dawson. I would take their relationship over the head coach anyday. Rascos mother loves Miles too, so that should help.
