It's now the last full week of recruiting for the 2013-2014 class

After reading multiple insider reports and not giving away too much inside info... LSU's staff did what it had to do this past weekend, all but receiving PUBLIC commitments from Emmanuel Porter, Derrick Kelly Jr. and Travonte "gettin money" Valentine.
They also reassured the verbals of Jamal Adams, DJ Chark, and Tony Upchurch Jr.
This week, the last week for this 2013-2014 recruiting cycle will go a long ways into how we finish this class.
The biggest question mark remains : Malachi Dupre. What has been long thought to be LSU's most committed uncommitted prospect, he had a great time in "the new T-town" this past weekend. Not to mention a great visit from Bama the week before with UCLA on deck for this weekend. Can LSU get his signature ? or will he be yet another casuality in this talented LA class to go out of state. My prediction : LSU - various reasons but the most appealing is the depth chart and relationships with coaches.
What in the world is going on with Adoree Jackson? Does he have a favorite ? Is he staying in California? Is he going to Florida? Literally the only thing that is known about him heading into these last few days is that LSU received an OV, they have had very good contact for a California prospect and have had in-homes with him and his parents (whom live in Missouri). I feel, aside from Les having an in-home with Adoree, that LSU's done all the right things and has the qualities he is looking for in a school... but will it be enough. My prediction : USC
Kenny Young - the big fundamental. This kid can play football, without doubt or hesitation. He may be limited as far as superstar upside goes, but he's a linebacking presence and intelligence that The Chief salivates for. He's currently on LSU's campus for his OV and has a very nice assortment of OOS schools to choose from... UCLA, which also is his last OV this weekend, being the biggest threat. He's been rumored to be almost a sured bet to leave the state all the way to a strong possibility for LSU. My prediction and IDK why : LSU
I think we finish with :
Derrick Kelly Jr - OT Florida LINK
Travonte Valentine - DT Florida LINK
Trey Lealaimatafao - DT Texas LINK
Emmanuel Porter - WR Texas LINK
Kenny Young - LB Louisiana LINK
Malachi Dupre - WR Louisiana LINK
to a final week in what has been a great recruiting cycle. BUGA NATION!

Man I hope you're right, but I'm not holding my breath on a couple of your picks.

If we do in fact finish with that list, that would be one hell of a haul considering how everyone feels like it has been a disaster, even though we are currently 4th in composite rankings!!! Lets be happy for the boys that want to play for the purple & gold!!

I think we finish with :
Derrick Kelly Jr - OT Florida
Travonte Valentine - DT Florida
Trey Lmafao - DT Texas
Emmanuel Porter - WR Texas
Kenny Young - LB Louisiana
Malachi Dupre - WR Louisiana
I would be shocked if we get Dupre & Young (Meaning maybe one of them but not both)

It'll be nice to bid farewell to all the tards as they take up bitching over the basketball team and whining about baseball not sweeping every cupcake

that's a lot of booms dude....a finish like that would go a long way to easing the pain of some of the earlier losses. only time will tell.

That would be an awesome finish. Honestly, if we only get Dupre and Valentine and keep all those who have already committed, it would be one of out best-ever classes. All the boxes would be checked with big-time talent.
