That can start at LSU and succeed the same year they commit/sign?

No. Doubt there are any of those in the country. Better hope Guice stays his senior year.

Are you seriously trying to say there are no rbs that can be a successful starter their freshman year?

i'd really rather not having to rely on pulling a kid out of MS....

i was fricking around on 247, and it seems most of the instate RBs are pretty small, more like APBs.... but there's a kid in Many, AJ Carter thats 6'0", 220 lbs.... anyone got anything on him? seen him play? etc.?

for real... 2018 is pretty bare at RB, even out of state... 2019, there's Noah Cain from IMG that we lead for.... and Kenny McIntosh, who we just offered...

Franklin is from Hattiesburg though and they seem like easier pulls the further they are from the delta.

Fabian Franklin is about as much of a lock to LSU as there is.

Fabian should be easy to get, south Mississippi is way different than the delta and north mississippi

I'm in no way saying I don't want an elite RB but hopefully Canada will take some pressure off the RB position.

100% THIS.

Just posted in one of the other 100 RB doom threads, that we have a NEW HC (defensive guy) and a new OC that knows how to match scheme to players available.

I would bank on Ducre or Queen at RB before I'd bank on a RB starting his true freshman year.

The Brumfield kid out of Covington is a bit of an Eddie Fuller type. Not blazing speed by any means, but he's thick and he's low to the ground.

Carter from Many looks better on film, but that has a lot to do with the competition. Either of those kids could play themselves into takes next year. Nobody ought to get overly pumped up about either, though.

I would book Devin White before Ducre or Queen.
Particularly, if we can get Gay or another good ILB.

Does White even want to play RB? I thought he agreed to play LB for earlier playing time but the prospects for a longer NFL career for any player with ability at both positions is at LB.
