I wish I could just come right out and repeat a conversation I was privy to this week concerning this. But let's just say that Nkemdiche's enrollment into Ole Miss will buy him CREATIVE entry into a very specific world (not talking NCAA violations or payoffs or hot chicks or parent jobs or any of that bs) with very specific Ole Miss alumni, that will give him access to things and relationships that will be very beneficial to a guy who wants a competitive advantage and to go pro to be among the elite sack ARTISTS in short order. Introductions will be made, certain connections inferred and it will be very difficult for him to turn that down.

It's not about going to your "favorite school" anymore for the can't miss guys. And I'm not saying it's a sack of cash either. It's about relationships with elite people who can make positive things happen 3/4 years down the road. It's about aligning with a specific group of people. It's a form of college free AGENCY.

Interesting take

but regardless of your "Conversation" the exact same type of thing likely exist at LSU or Bama or Fla or UGA.

No he is not coming here but his family will be the biggest role for that.

Unless CLM & Co. can convince mom and thats a very very slim chance at this point.

Word on the Rant is that he's committing to LSU so that he can leave early for the NFL. We'll have him for spring ball before all of our internal problems force him to go pro.

Any reasonable person that is considering LSU knows of their recent track record in putting D-linemen in the league.

His NFL chances are the same at Ole Miss as at LSU. LSU puts Dlinemen in the NFL because they're successful recruiting talented Dlinemen, not because they have a magical, mystical development formula.

To me, LSU's best sales points are:

1) Obviously the chance to compete for the NC.
2) we rotate our Dlinemen, keep them fresh, and reduce injuries.

This one is really easy fellas. LSU should be a NO-BRAINER over Ole Piss for a top DL recruit.

The fact that its not tells you he isnt coming here.

Yes not even close. If he wanted to be a Tiger he would have declared by now. Now he is going to be tiger bait. I am sure he will be fine at OM but he could have been a first round at Lsu with the national Tv exposure affored the Tigers. Oh well his loss. Momma doesn't always know best especially when it comes to football.

So the guy is an agent with no affiliation to Ole Miss? What's the point? If RN plays like he is expected to play in college, he will have his choice of agent regardless of what college he attends

Cute.

If we told him Steven Soderberg grew up in Baton Rouge, maybe we can sway him...
