Can't fault a pro style kid for not wanting to play in a dual threat system, and vice versa.

Bingo, matter of fact if you are a pro style QB you should look for a pro style offense and vice versa for a dual threat. I just hope our coaches don't screw this up but at this point after the offer to Tua I have little confidence in them not doing that!

Maybe this staff is now going after players that fits this staff's objectives?

That is what I'm afraid of. O may be a good one on one recruiter, but I not confident in his ability to organize the recruiting and build on it. I have heard that Ole Miss's talent went to crap under him. We'll see. He needs to be on an extremely short leash.

Is Florida Recruiting Brennan now? Well, in today's day and age, most coaches consider dual-threat to be the evolution, shifting away from more traditional pocket passers.

1- I know the chick in ur sig
2- I'm not against a guy that can move around but I'm not for an offense geared towards moving the chains with your qb's legs. It does not evolve ur offense or your team and if it fails then ur offense is stagnant. You can't just all of a sudden diversify your offense with the snap of a finger once your one dimensional offense stalls. I'll take a guy that can read a defense and get the ball out quick to our stud receivers and use play action over a run first guy any day. I just think it is a higher quality brand of football. That way everybody eats. Do you want to be auburn? It's like we have thrown in the towel on developing qb's because we are too dumb and then pretending it's because it's the more sophisticated choice. Obviously the athletes at the qb spot have changed but LSU going dual threat because they can't develop a qb that can pick apart a defense is not evolution.

Orgeron's tenure at Ole Miss was a fail in terms of wins/losses, but didn't Houston Nutt come in after Coach O and have some success with the talent he left?

That actually isn't true. Cuttcliffe was never a big time recruiter. Once Manning left, he was out of magic tricks there and by the end, Ole Miss was very lean on talent. O did a good job building that back up, as evidenced by Nutt's 2 good Cotton Bowl teams. He just had absolutely no idea how to run a program, or what to do with said talent on the field. And he still may not. We shall see.

If he goes to Flordia , so be it. He can catch splinters with Franks on the bench.

You shouldn't be flaunting the fact that you dated a mannish looking butterface.
Also, this thread is full of overreaction y'all need to chill big time.

What objectives are those? LSU hasn't even hired an OC yet.

Florida has shown some interest, but they're not the real threat. Ok St will probably get an official, and they're the threat. The only way the State commit comes to LSU is if Kiffin does, and you'll lose Myles and pick him up.

Kiffin was not the issue when Brennan committed, so how is that the viable excuse now?

Calm down. Florida has a commit alreay. Bama has two QBs committed already. Notre Dame has 1 commit. Miami has 2 commits. Michigan has 1 commit. Florida State has 2 commits. None of these schools have offered MB. Most of these schools are set with early enrollees.

Stop crying and wait until you get your OC. You want a good OC hire. Then you want a QB that fits that system.
