Was told he left to go back to EA to graduate early which Uhigh doesn't allow, any truth to that?
I think that is 1 reason Moses left

It's embarrassing. But the alumni love the bragging rights.

yes, I believe the rule currently in place is that you cannot graduate early.

I'm not sure that he actually left but with the new parish rule as long as he lived in Ascension he would be eligible.
Yea the recruiting thing is deplorable but those things tend to be cyclical. Parkview baptist in the late 90's with Don Green but eventually parents got tired of watching their kids who had been there all their lives & pay tuition sit on the bench. I thought it was odd that Mahaffey applied for the st James job but I guess if a mass exodus was coming it makes sense.

..and when you call them out on it, they deny it. bullshite.

I know of one getting recruited today. He tore up CSAL in basketball and U-High came calling. I'm sure the parents with kids on the waiting list love that shite.

It's all fun and games until their kids playing times get cut. U-High does not get enough crap on what that place has become.

Well considering they're the #1 ranked HS in BR academically and 6th in the state, they're doing something else right too.

Those CSAL scouting reports on the MSB pay dividends.

Restricted enrollment. It's easy to be good when you get to cherry pick your talent.

You are correct and incorrect. The Diocese is taking over what used to be the CSAL/CYO league. It should be seamless for the teams, including football.
