Assuming Tigers can fill all the open spots, is 27 the hard limit or can LSU go higher?

27 is the limit barring some sort of blue shirt situation, which we would have heard about by now if it were in the works.

What about a transfer slot? That would open up a scholarship right?

Do coaches kids get free tuition? Could we possible use this to our advantage with moffitt?

If you consider Moffit's raise, maybe.

Opens up a scholarship, but not a spot for a recruit. Limit on recruits is 25. That is a hard number, except you can exceed it by using early enrollees to count against the previous year's number. We must have only had 23 guys count for 2016, so we have an extra 2 that we filled with EEs.

85 is the total number of scholarships you can give and the incoming class must fit under this limit. So, in order to take 27 guys, we would need to be at 58. This is where graduates, early draft entrants and transfers come in, and this is where "processing" help for making numbers work.
