it's amazing to me that this hasn't happened yet. Where is the full court press for a QB? it's mind blowing

What's amazing to me is that UF is in a strong position to have 3 qbs in this class, including a certain qb who we had to sell our entire recruiting class' soul to and still lost him. I'm forever dumbfounded at how we continue to be held hostage by these guys while our competition has no problem getting 2-3 top qbs each year

Now I'm not trying to put words into his mouth, but I think he meant why wasn't this done at any point in time, unless I missed when Milez did go up there.

Miles and Co went around the country right after the season was over with Miles dabbin all over the place. Knowing Franks was gone, why not head up to Maryland?

Haskins seems to be very family oriented and a coach like Miles has the type of charm that could sway him to LSU by getting on the familia's good side. Show him the insane amount of talent he will be throwing to. I mean Maryland couldn't even keep Diggs's younger bro from leaving the state (who I might add is a beast in his own right).

All he needs to do is look at the class of WRs, TEs, and RBs with receiver hands that LSU has been recruiting over the last several years.

Because they were too busy getting on their hands and knees. They may not be able to see him but they sure as heck better be letting him know they will be there the first second that they can.

as soon as the door closed on franks, haskins should have been a top priority.

you mean to tell me they didn't visit him once in the fall?

Its pitiful to be honest, and Haskins isnt afraid of competition. Thats all I need to know about him.

Plus he is supposedly Toliver's cousin

He's talking about ALL the time before that when we put all our eggs in Franks' basket and still didnt give a lick to recruit anyone else when Franks said he wanted to decommit to the coaching staff back in early November/late October. They had plenty of warnings and other chances to start looking at guys like Haskins but Cameron just kept trying to reel Franks in and only that.

Franks is more scared of competition than a child is of the dark. Cam going visit another highly rated QB would have scared Franks off faster than a blink of an eye.

Yeah, the only team in the SEC who seems to get wrapped around the axle more with this mess is a+m. But, in their case most of their crap seems to happen after the guys get to campus and have to be Unrecruited.

The head coach can only make ONE in home visit and usually that is reserved for sealing the deal, not initiating it.

I love how everyone thinks our coaches have their thumbs up their asses on this one. I mean, it does kind of confound me how we can't get two kids to commit in the same class, but I don't think our coaches are just milling around.

I think Cameron has done a good job of trying to mend our QB troubles, but he is working against the national media's perception, the fans' perception, and the fact that we've only had one good (not great) year at QB since 2008.

Shite takes time.
