If you had to rank the order of what factors sway a recruit, what would you say the order of rank would be? This is my guess.
1. Playing Time
2. Location (closest to home)
3. Head Coach
4. Teams ability to develop his talents for the NFL
5. Conference Affiliation
6. Teams history of success and future potential
7. Position Coach
8. Academics and Choice of Major
9. It's where Momma wants him to go
10. City where the College is located
11. Girls
12. Money under the table from a booster (We all know it happens)
Feel free to add others if I left any out

I would think teams chances of winning a National Championship would be up there. This gives them a lot of exposure...

Can't really objectify these things. Each recruit is into different things, which is why I'm glad LSU can pitch so many different angles.

Don't underestimate the "charisma" factor of the guys doing the recruiting. There is a reason that some guys are better recruiters than others and it mostly has to do with their personal charisma. Effective recruiting is mostly a sales job when it is all said and done. The coaches who have the most personality in terms of being the kind of guy kids are drawn to plays a big part in where a kid chooses to go.

Apparently the availibility of good weed must have been a factor in recruiting some of our previous recruits

I would think how you get along with other players on the team would be pretty high up there. 16-18yr like to feel comfortable and fit in with the people they are going to be spending a lot of time with.
