If les is gone get ready for this class to take some hits. If frank and O aren't retained either, this class falls apart to nothing

That's a huge if. I'd be shocked if we kept 2 of the 3, much less all 3.

Maybe not O, but Raymond is an Alum, and Frank Wilson knows he is in the place that he can do the best he can do.

Frank Wilson can do what he does best at any school. He can also take a promotion at a lot of schools.

I'd like someone to show me a time when a HC has been run off and his best assistants stay around to work for a random replacement that they have never worked for.

HE can't nab all the New Orleans kids at any school, like he can at LSU. He is a better recruiter here than anywhere else.

I am not saying we won't have to sell him, but it shouldn't be that hard a sell. He wasn't with Les from the beginning, and he has been hired away from multiple schools.

frank is being passed over. that won't set well with a young guy who was told by les that he would get his chance if he stayed. if les goes, he will never be oc here. its time for frank to move on,

A chance at what? HC? OC? HE stayed after Les hired his 4th OC.

Hell he stayed after Les promoted the OL coach to OC over him.

frank has tremendous leverage in that he literally controls nola recruiting. what school wouldn't want a shot a that? if he stays, then the new hc could eventually train someone to replace him in nola.

I bet he gets several offers. big time sec/ big 12 programs and smaller schools wanting a oc. I could see a oklahoma, Baylor, tcu (in addition to sec schools) wanting frank.

Alabama would love to have him and he would probably destroy the concept of a fence there.

If Frank is not retained there'll be several smaller schools that will be prepared to offer him an OC position at the least. Why would he go to Bama to be a position coach. And if he does the rant would implode.

TCU and Oklahoma have Defensive coaches at HC they can't go get a guy to be OC just because he can recruit Louisiana. Baylor has Briles to run the offense but it would still be a weird move for him. Selling NOLA kids on Waco and the Big 12 is hard

FWIW, this is an article by the Advocate. I'm crossing my fingers that regardless of which direction we go, it'll be a quick return to full stands with fans not ready to jump off the bridge.

In my opinion the odds of retaining both Frank Wilson and O next year are currently at 0%. They know they will be looking for a job with this Les foolishness and these guys want stability which LSU does not presently offer.
