Moses is likely lost to Bama tho

Been saying this for months. He decommits and his dad disappears from this site. Kid was going there with or without miles. He'd fit better here as an OLB. Even a Bama friend of mine has said such. He will be their Jack linebacker. Kid probably felt pressure to stay home, but he is enamored with Bama.

This. Don't downplay how much Chavis had a positive impact here.

Saban hires Bebe and Frank. 90% of this board slashes their wrists while laying in a tub of warm water and watching replays of the LSU-Oklahoma BCS National Championship Game on a nearby large screen TV.

No doubt about that! Frank is the highest paid RB coach in the country and will continue to be...O needs to be DC or a well paid DLine coach...they need to stay...Corey as well

It seems blatantly obvious up to this point that he's a much better evaluator of talent too than Raymond. Cooper's time here wasn't a fluke after seeing what he did at South Carolina too.

I wouldn't exactly be mad if Raymond stayed, and he's an elite recruiter, but Raymond deserves a ton of blame for where we are now

How much coaching will Toliver, Jackson, Monroe, Fulton, Smith, Stevens, etc really need? We gotta keep Raymond to keep those guys most likely.

We really need to keep Raymond, Orgeron, and Wilson. After that they can kick rocks

Like I said, i wouldn't be mad if we retained Raymond. I think it's well understood Frank and Bebe need to stay

I really don't think Raymond is a bad coach. I just don't think guys like white and mills are the all American studs we were spoiled with from 09-12. They're great college players but not top end of the first round NFL starters

Toliver and Adams I think are right there and both will be drafted high, but those guys are young. Adams is a beast and he will be a stud in the NFL once he gets some things cleaned up, which I think he will with time and coaching

Also, the scheme has been a disaster this whole year. They just can't get it figured out. All the lapses are due to confusion.

I don't think Raymond is to blame for much of that. It's on Steele

I'm glad someone said it. It's the elephant in the room. They're both good players, but I think the school's secondary reputation made a facade for reality.

I'm mad at steele, and I'm someone who's defended him until the end. It's clear he's not the answer. Still, this is the least talented LSU defense in a long time. I thought we all knew that anyways coming in due to the thin front 7. Yes, there's some good talent, but we're a shell of our former reputable defenses

We may actually solidify Franks depending upon the hire..

and we may even take this class to yet another level..

Moses seems to have an infatuation with Bama.. and if that's where he wants to be so be it. LSU is about to build something truly special and I would love for him to be a part of it.

LSU's recruiting may actually hit another level depending upon who the hire is.

i could see Wilson leaving for the highest bidder who ever the new coach is. he is a young guy that's been stuck as rb coach for a long time. he wants to move up. he will be pissed if a new coach comes in and hires a new oc. that will set him back several years since the new coach has no loyalty to frank.

I could easily see frank and o leaving. they are not the types of personalities to just be happy to have a job.

Frank is currently making as much as most OCs with the exception of a dozen powerhouse programs?? From a career development perspective, I could see Frank working as a Co-OC to whoever is brought in....
