Will Les get some heat if he doesn't win a NC during that group's time at LSU? Pretty solid group if we can land most of em.

Salmon, sad, but very true. At some point though, you would have to assume that he will win another one with the talent he gets to LSU. Ole Les is a great recruiter, that much is true.

fjohn and Vermilion,
You don't think Les should be judged a little for not winning another one? I am not talking about firing the man, just a little criticism. This class could shape up to be the best ever. I am not talking about unreal expectations, just one more NC in the next 5 years, with potentially the best crop of talent this school has ever had. Hell, Auburn won one with one great player.

I get that, but he has never had a recruiting class like this before. He almost won another one with considerably less talent than what this class is supposed to have. I understand that stars don't automatically translate to success, but it can't hurt LSU's chances with this class.

The fact is that to win an NC he is going to have to beat Bama and Nick Saban probably twice each season, that's just not easy to do.

If he land 80% of his targets from the 2013 and 2014 class, and prime out of staters he has (Paris-Garret-Voorhies)...

He'll win 10 a year by having a gameplan with these guys...

He has saved his job... but will he do enough to make a timeless legacy?????

You're judging him on 2nd person scouting

Why the hell should Miles be judged because someone else said they were good at football? More things hold weight than your star rating.

That's not what pissed me off with this thread. We can't have anything nice without it turning into a negative spin on Miles. It's getting ridiculous.

I'm not usually the person to say this, but this is the 10,001st time we've heard a shitty question like this. Don't post stupid things. You should feel bad for having posted it.

Yes, especially with the playoff being implemented.

Depends if Bama gets the cupcake schedule and we get the top east teams every year.

Yea. Every year will ride on whether we beat them, bc theyre not gonna face any stiff schedules apparently...

Think again, we'll be playing them TWICE. With the new 4 team playoff, if they only have one loss, they'll always be in the top four. Unfortunately, we won't get the same consideration.

It's not Bama's fault that the Vols are sucking the past few years.

Les will get heat from the usual population of idiots even if he wins four in a row.

Come to think of it, ranting lunatics spouting off isn't really "heat."
