6'5, once he adds weight and gets in a SEC weight room.
He's a guy with a lot of upside, definitely not a finished product.
3000 plus passing
1000 on the ground
low interception rate

You and the other 13 guys who started threads just like this one have the same feeling.

I know that we are late to show interest because of Miles, but damn I would think he would weigh his options now.

The Miles regime favored Narcisse over him, but that was likely before his second knee injury. However, they stood by the commitment rather than bailing on him and chasing Thompson.

I'm pretty sure Thompson is an EE, so he isn't flipping to us at this point, especially with no OC.

Thompson visited LSU several times for camps. Cam and Les passed on him early on.

Brennan is two years from being SEC ready. He is a project at best.
Narcise is one more knee injury from never playing again, even if he only carries 10 times a game it's a risk.

Well, they did put all the eggs in for Flippy Franks.

I remember reading that Thompson was "raw" as all get out the last time he camped at LSU. Guys do get better with experience though.

That's football, you can't play scared. As a former football player I know injuries are part of the game. He is really young and can come back from another injury, but you are not looking for that to happen.

Franks was always iffy, but you don't know how a player will turn out being that young. Miles and Cameron were just two unusual guys to be kind. Miles wanted to turn Prescott into a TE or fullback or something. lol

Well, at the time, we were not going to take 3 QBs

so 1 had to be left out

obviously now that Narcisse is likely gone, it sucks, but that is what happens sometimes

He reminded me a lot of Jordan Jefferson in HS and that's not a knock on the kid. He completely dominated every game I watched him play. I'm curious to see how he transitions to the speed and complexity of SEC defenses.

Everyone bashing Coach O, O knows LSU needs a QB
Not one QB Miles has recruited has panned out except Mett. But Mett only ended up at LSU because he got booted from UGA.
Miles inherited Russell and Flynn.

I'm not sold on either Brennan or Narcise at this point. Let O find and recruit his guy and his coordinator and go to work.
