I don't know why Anthony Jennings is not rated much higher.

After looking at his most recent film, Jennings could be really really good to LSU. Having a mobile QB is a huge asset. Mettenberger had a lot of trouble moving around in the pocket when defenders got close. Both incoming qbs are much more mobile then our current signal caller. It will be a very interesting battle in the spring.

IMO, Jennings has Steve Young or Roger Staubach written all over him. But hey, I'm prone to a little hyperbole from time to time.

I was just watching his senior highlights and their even more impressive than his junior year. On one play he throws a 45 yard bomb on the run with perfect touch.

Having a mobile QB is fine as long as he can throw accurately and make good decisions.

Running left and throwing back right for a TD is really good ability. I think he is the real deal.

I completely agree. He will be a lot better than people are giving him credit for.

The fact is he can throw and very accurately. Now, all we need is a kick arse OC that Les will allow to run things his way.

Totally agree. He's got a really good presence in the pocket and seems to read the defense well judging from what's on YouTube. I think I'm more excited about him than Rettig (nothing against him). He might be the guy very soon

No way am I going to buy into this "how great of a quarterback" anyone is going to be. I can't get past the fact that we can't seem to develop ANY qb we've gotten our hands on during the CLM era. Damn shame we haven't made any move to correct our biggest obstacle to a championship.

It is for me. When I heard Rettig wasn't in BR yet I instantly thought, well Jennings is.

Only thing he needs to work on that you can see in film is quiet his feet.

This kid could be very special...he's got a fantastic reel. He may look even better than Teddy did coming out of HS.
