We were never likely to get Devall, Collins or Kiel ( whose "commitment" was an aberration and was unlikely).

Gunner was never intending to go to LSU...he wanted free NCG tickets and got them...next day he's at ND...the only loss there was Patrick Miller, great talent and wanted to come to LSU, lost him because a mama's boy was playing games...Geaux Tigers

You must be mentally challenged. We could have easily got any of the guys you mentioned. Our staff did not do a good enough job identifying with these guys and they went elsewhere.

It's not like they came out the womb saying frick LSU. Its the way their recruitment went; plain and simple. No sugarcoating it.

Again, I am not bashing anyone but I'll be damned if idiots like you think WE need to sunshine pump every post to make you feel better about our fandom. I am perfectly fine with my fandom, my school, and my coach; you seem to be over compensating for something.

6 considering all things. (by LSU standards, fairly good for most other programs)

whiffing on high profile recruits like kiel, collins, davis is a big deal no matter how you spin it. then you throw in the goat-frick that happened with miller, and you have what any objective observer perceives to be a relatively poor recruiting effort by the staff.

hell, we didn't even fill out the class after a 13-1 season. that's just not getting it done.

6,Hopefully Miles will let Krags utilize Mett and his playmakers to attract recruits for 2013.

This pretty much sums up how I feel about it.

13-1, SEC champs, national runner-up...I mean, frick, that resume' should recruit itself. When your program is at that level and you lose the top 3 players in your own state (including at least one who's apparent intent was to punk you all along)...well, it's a bit of a disappointment.

7 for happiness with how things ended up. Davis was my favorite commit

8 for a grade based on who we got. We filled every need we set out to fill at the start of the cycle. We got some very talented kids with very high upsides. If 10-12 of the kids in the class are good contributors then we had a successful class.

QB-C+ I like Liggins but felt we needed 2 and was hoping for a more polished, college ready passer.

RB-A we didn't need one and still landed a top 10 back in the class. Hill is top notch

WR-B Needed numbers and talent and overall we did well. Will be really special if the coaches can convince Avery to fulfill his talent. Dural will be a good wr. Holmes is pure gravy

TE-A. Thomas is a stud whether he makes it in this year or next. He's a gamechanging type talent at TE. Gordon is a prototype LSU TE

OL- B+ All 3 guys have high potential and great size. Hawkins is the guy to watch. If he develops as expected, lookout

DE-B+ Not a huge need and we got a stud. Hunter has 1st round talent.

LB-A+ Just a monster group imo. Louis has excellent potential. Jones is very good and I think at minimum will be Bakeresque on special teams. Feist needs coaching but has the tools. If Phillips can translate his talent to LB then he can be top notch. I just question if he can. Granier is a solid guy. Alexander is the gem talent wise. If he fully recovers from the knee, he is the best talent of the LB group.

CB-A. Mills has size and athleticism. I like what he has to work with. Thomas is one of those guys that just gets how to play the position. Solid athlete and talent but his instincts and skill are what make him good. Good size as well. Raymond is a special talent. Big time speed and a great athlete. Also has very good size potential. Has a lot of natural talent as a cover guy. Wait until Cooper teaches him proper technique and th correct reads to make. Claiborne part 2 imo.

S-B Sandolph has potential and is a pretty damn good athlete but i am not as sold as others are. Thompson is the prize. He could be special. Smart, athletic, fast and a worker. Eric Reid in a better athletic package sounds like a winner to me.

We certainly got a fine cake. Just short on a little icing. Two years from now I'm expecting to look back and see that I and others grossly underestimated the potential in this class.

It is, right now. Hopefully a couple years down the road will prove me wrong.

9 only because we let one get away.

Met crucial needs.
They all love LSU (all but one which will grow to love LSU)
It's hard to be negative when LSU has a strong team right now.
We will have a proven QB that knows how to throw TD's.
We have another QB that can run the "Wild Rhino" on short yardage plays.
We addressed the LB need that has plagued this team for years.
We have leadership quality recruits.

I see nothing but sunshine right now.

It's a great time to be an LSU fan.

I love the Tigers!!!

What's not to like?

These guys don't know any better man. They follow recruiting for a day.

They don't understand that there is no excuse missing out on the top 3 players in the state in a year when LSU was ranked #1 damn near the whole season. No excuse other than Miles and staff thinking they have Louisiana guys wrapped up without really recruiting them, ala Collins.

Anyone who knows anything about this stuff knows that they didn't put the time in with the Louisiana guys like they should have, especially Collins.

Miles even alluded to it. Let these douches blow smoke up Miles' arse all they but these losses will come back to haunt LSU.

You are a dumb son of a bitch if you think lsu wasn't recruiting Collins enough.

You call out people who are supporting the class as only following recruiting for a day? bullshite. Reading what you just wrote shows me that you have no idea what the frick you are talking about when it comes to recruiting.

I guess you're the only one that followed recruiting for more than a day jackass.

In fact I've never seen you before.

You are either:

A. Gump
B. Troll
C. Stupid
D. All of the above.

Go back to the rant #1 rantard. You have not posted over here all year and start up a week ago just to flame and then act like you contribute to this board when you never have.
