We are in a really good spot

Enough with the sunshine pumping bullshite. You know you don't believe this class is a 9 and no one else believes it when u put it out there.

This class is a 6. When u lose out on 3 players who were verbals and the cornerstones of the class, it makes you wonder. Yea we got some other guys but they obviously were not our staffs first choice for a reason. It is what is at this point.

7. I love the class, but it still stings to lose so many blue-chippers to other schools.

I was really hoping to end this "bad karma" we have had since the NC game with a nice surprise today. Kwon was the surprise, but Davis' stunt just keeps the "bad karma" feeling lingering.

I was at 6.5 yesterday, losing Davis sucked but I really like Kwon so I'm holding at 7 for now until we see if we have any casualties.

Mathieu was only a 2 star. I only want boys who want to be a TIGER!!! You can't measure "X" factors on a star system. When you look at the Tigers who graduated, opted for draft, etc. We lost a few that we will certainly miss but there some chapters we are happy to close.
There are some amazing guys on this roster. Boys who want to be Tigers. Sure, it hurt to lose two 5 stars but stars don't always translate into Tigers!!!
I bleed purple and gold and I know we have all had a painful January. We had a great fall!!!! It started with an impossible win in Jerry's Palace and it was a great ride! I can't wait until Colins has to come to Death Valley and our safeties shut down Cordarelle Patterson in an orange uniform.
GEAUX TIGERS!!!! How can you be a fan and gripe about the ones that got away! Let's celebrate the great ones we got!!!

You don't know what the hell I believe, and I couldn't care less about what you think about my response to the original question. The OP inquired each posters specific opinion, so I gave mine. We filled our needs and I trust that the coaches did their job, though it may be hard for some of the living room coordinators to understand.

I'd rank this class as "below average" compared to some other *CLM recruited classes at LSU. That being said, I'd rank it slightly higher than average in terms of filling some team positional needs. What really matters most is how will the new Tigers play? How well will they be coached? Results, not rankings, are what matter most to me.
Along these lines I'm interested in knowing how 2 or 3 of the top LA bluechippers went elsewhere. And why.

7.5. Losing Collins, Keil, and Davis hurt but this is still a very solid class. We have lots of underrated pure athletes in this class that will take a few years to develop but should be great players.

How is that being a living room coordinator? It is seeing the facts and using common sense to deduct what happened. That's it. I am not bashing anyone or any coach for that matter, but this class is not what it should/could have been and that might be acceptable this year but if it becomes a trend then that will not be good.

Back to OP: D Hunter will be the best player out of this class, I have been saying that for months and nothing has changed. I hope Hawkins plays Defense but I think that is a pipe dream. Dural will see the field next year, no two ways about it he was easily our second most underrated recruit.
Liggins is a project but he is a Rohan Davey clone and that is awesome we got him.

As for our LB recruits, we will have to wait and see with them how they pan out. I see Fiest playing as an edge type rusher which is where his strengths lie.

Edinburgh and Alexander will both be extremely good. Both have nothing but upside, Edinburgh more than VA imo due to raw ability.

I know K. Holmes has speed but his skill set does not fit what our coaches want in a WR due to the fact that he plays soft and avoids contact. AJ needs to develop a better work ethic and he will be good but again I stress he has to put in the work.

Our secondary recruits are both extremely athletic and raw and that is exactly how Copper likes them. I see Sandolph being the overall best out the group when it is all said and with Thomas being a contributor early.

I want the best players. We got some. We missed on a bunch.

The teams that rank the highest in recruiting are the ones who win. DEAL WITH IT. It was a mediocre class by our standards but not bad.
