IMO, reeling in he and Guice would solidify the RB position for years to come. Yet I continue to hear that a flip to Texas is a real possibility. Those in the know, how real is it?

Anything is possible in recruiting is the only correct answer.

Texas and Notre Dame are real possibilities bc he would play... Maybe even start day 1

I think that it's important to sell him on the committee plan we use which actually saves some tread on those legs when the nfl comes calling

I talked to someone real real real close to Nick and Notre Dame is too far so probably not going to happen. It's going to be Texas or LSU. Was explained to me that some kids just want to experience new things. Nothing 100% decided on.

I wish runningbacks would understand there's a direct correlation b/w number of touches and length of career. The reason we have successful runningbacks in the NFL is they have low wear and tear from college before making the jump to the pro's. LSU lays out a simple strategy..come to LSU, work within our committee system, show your strengths without wearing you down, and make bank in the league.

Brossette, Guice, LF, Ducre, and Williams will be an impossible group to stop! Can't wait to see them all shine in purple and gold

my current LSU verbal commit source said he's solid... i asked about Texas and playing time, and he said we have nothing to worry about... he's all LSU

Ya'll getting the feel good story. He may stay commited to LSU but Texas is a real threat.

I was told that it has nothing to do with competition, but that he may want to go away to be somewhere different. He has spent his whole life in Louisiana. Plus,he really likes Charlie Strong.

I agree with that. I have seen him play once in person and on TV and he is the real deal. I hope he stays with the Tigers but if not, then I wish him nothing but the best.

This is a myth. I've already listed several very notable RBs who've ran for 600-1000 times in college, to have long and very successful NFL careers.

Saying that, I would still want him here.

Doesn't matter really. Guice and Fournette will be the best combo in NCAA.

Of course there are outliers to any statistical study. I'm talking about the majority, not the minority

Not true, you're making that up. Look at the history of the nfl and the best backs.
