Good enough to get 4 stars out of 5.

All of our LB are good but most play DE in highschool so there will be a transition

Fowler, Thornton, and Divinity are all studs.

Fowler will likely be a mike backer. He's stout and can rush the passer like a mad man.

Thornton is long and can run. He's shredded already for a young kid. Sky is the limit there

Divinity is a little more slight in the pants than the other two, but he has a ton of athletic ability. He will be a great sideline to sideline guy right away, and since he will be here for spring he will have a leg up on gaining weight and learning to shed blocks against college level lineman.

Fowler:
-will play the beckwith role.

Divinity: will play the deon jones role

Thornton: different than any backer we currently have. Long athletic pass rushing type that has typically played DE for us in the past.

Getting these guys up to speed is huge for next year. Will be the 3 most talented lbs on the roster next year if beckwith leaves

Fowler can play ILB and 3-4 OLB rusher, he's well built and instinctive.

Thornton is a 4-3 WDE and a 3-4 OLB pass rusher with tons of potential.

Divinity is similar to Debo Jones but is more polished coming out of HS.

We are moving away from the smallish DE and Safeties playing LB.

I really think Thornton will be good even to start at some point next year.

Is that a good thing when playing Ole Miss, A&M, AU, and other teams who run a spread? Good against Bama I guess.
