How many are we able to take in this class? Martin, Mickey, and Odo make 3 leaving the team. But with Simmons, Blakeney, and possible Newman/Sampson or Kasongo would possibly be 4.

You can only have 13 scholarship players
I'm counting 11 from last year in Jarell, Elbert, Hornsby, Gray, Patterson, Bridgewater, Epps, Malone, Mickey, Odo and Quarterman. I'm assuming two walk-ons got one.
Losing those three you mentioned puts us at 8, so we still have room for a class of Simmons, Blakeney, Malik, Kasongo and Victor
