Got to give Freeze credit. He is actively promoting Ole Miss football. Even BBC (as in British Broadcasting) spent 30 minutes on Ole Miss football on SuperSunday. Freeze, Michael Ohr and Ole Miss students were interviewed and all represented the school well.

The guy is passionate about his job and his school and he's able to convey this to his recruits.

Not saying that these are the only factors that induced kids to sign with them but anything else is speculation.

They had some incredible connections this year and Nutt basically locked down RN 3 years ago. No big deal.

Ummmm. Rebs played us straight up for 4 quarters. Very lucky to have won that one. We were totally outplayed and outcoached. Maybe THAT had something to do with it. Genius

An excuse for a win?

Look, that was not the same team we saw pre-Bama and the guys leaving all but took themselves out of games. It happens.

Not to championship teams. Didnt happen to Bammer. Stop making excuses, Pumper. Rebs won this one and its our fault.

this.

and, don't fool yourself if you think this cant become a pattern. its amazaing what winning can do. it wasnt too long ago that LSU and Bama were both bottom or middle of the pack SEC teams. in walks a coach that can win, then recruit, ...yada yada yada.

while tradition and history helps (see bama), its not like OM has never won. who knows, but betting money is likely that it won't pan out. i wouldnt take that bet, though.

READ THE frickING ARTICLE

I'll reiterate and excerpt from the article

Tunsil, who had never visited the Ole Miss campus until an official visit two weeks ago, also considered defending BCS national champion Alabama and Florida. Freeze said Ole Miss defensive line coach Chris Kiffin -- USC coach Lane Kiffin's younger brother -- did an outstanding job recruiting Tunsil and won over the player's mother.

But the Twitter world went abuzz after Tunsil's sudden about-face last week, with some accusing the Rebels of offering his girlfriend an academic scholarship and paying off his family. "It's not true whatsoever," Freeze said. "It comes from the same place where most of the other stuff comes from -- garbage bins."

But sources familiar with Tunsil's recruitment did confirm to ESPN.com that the Rebels have offered a scholarship to his younger brother, Alex Weber, a lightly regarded junior receiver at Columbia High in Lake City, Fla. The Rebels offering Weber a scholarship isn't a violation of NCAA rules. He wasn't included among a list of 232 wide receiver prospects in Florida for the 2014 recruiting cycle

WE DON'T DO THIS KIND OF STUPIDITY
