As one who does not follow recruiting, can someone tell me why there is such a huge difference between Rivals (LSU=3) and ESPN (LSU=11)? What players does ESPN rate significantly lower, or is across the board lower?

ESPN is too busy focusing on Tebow than recruiting.

espn does not spend enough money to properly evaluate players.

their rankings suck and everyone knows it.

ESPN does not focus, therefore does not spend money, on recruiting.

Wait...they look to be spending all kinds of money on the game...so it would seem they are spending money on "recruiting"....many of their top flight players have made a big splash

It's pretty neat how they are running it from a presentation point of view...IMHO

it's impossible to invite the best players from 52 states...so having 2 games is good

the have NFL coaches, recruiting analysis are breaking down the players and practices are in HD. That pretty darn good...

They have our class under-rated but maybe not in the end
