Its not like he left in the middle of the night after saying he wasn't going anywhere. I don't understand how someone can call the guy a slimebag for leaving for a better opportunity.

I wonder if they acted like this when Shaka left. This is almost on the LSU/Saban hate level except Wade only spent 2 years and never had any real accomplishments there.

Saban also left on Christmas Day and had told local media he was not leaving days prior.

Then returned to our division rival and rammed it in our arse for 6 years straight.

People didn't start to truly hate the man until he went to Bama.

Wade is in Destin for SEC coaches meetings. Seems kinda odd to have the kid come in for a visit when the HC isn't here. I just hope we land him.

That's a tough break. However, summer classes start June 5th so we need to have him enrolled soon so he can take part in summer workout sessions with the team. The time to get aboard is now.

Hopefully our assistant coaches can get everything together and present our school the best they can.

How awesome would it be if Wade flew in for a few hours to see him then flew back out to the coaches meeting... haha

Wade needs to do whatever it takes to land this kid. He's a baller and at his size he'll have stay at least 3 years. For the long term success of this program this kid cold be a key cog.

As detail oriented as Wade seems, I'm sure he has he bases covered.

No kidding. Time with the head coach is minimal on an official visit anyway. No doubt Wade will fly in, meet with the kid and his family and fly back that night or the next morning early.

Not a big deal at all.

So this guy was a Georgetown commitment. And committees to them over offers from duke, Kansas, Kentucky, and Indiana?

Yet he is considering LSU all of the sudden?

Doesn't add up to me? Is it because all the other schools who offered him are now full because of his renig from Georgetown?

Not sure about Indiana but I think UK & KU both landed other players and moved on from him. UCONN is after him and if LSU can pull a kid from that region that UCONN is after with their history of guard play that's a major coup for Wade. Georgetown is still on him as well.

He wants to play right away. Said during recruiting that he was waiting to see where everyone landed before he made his decision. Was looking closely at Duke until Duval signed. UK, KU have their starting guards.

If he lands at LSU it will be interesting to see how Wade handles him and his father.

Rumor is the dad is very hands on.

This piece would put LSU's class at #16 nationally.

Unbelievable.
