He's supposedly on his official visit for the Arky game, but he may or may not be there. Probably more of a visit to see the number one team. It's still a positive if he visits though.

Not committed yet, but ND is believed to be the leader at this point. Not sure what the OP is getting at here with the LSU/Vandy comments.

edit: Apparently Kiel is visiting LSU and Vandy this weekend

James Franklin is tearing up the recruiting trail. They'll be good soon.

Yep. They'll be legit. I would honestly rather go to Vandy than ND, less pressure, still a great school and Cutler >>>>>>> Quinn and Clausen. Franklin is a great coach though

According to one site he was at Vandy yesterday with family. Toured campus and watched the practice. The visit went real well.

If Gunner visits LSU the Kiel family has real interest. It has nothing to do with a good game. When Gunner opened up his commitment a few weeks ago one article stated he contacted and UA and they said they were done at QB. He tried to get an OV to UA and it did not happen. I am not sure what happened between him and our staff but that boat sailed.

I have also heard that they are not sold on ND being the best fit for him. I would not be surprised to see LSU land Gunner and do think they have as good as a chance as anyone right now. I realy wish UA would have landed him but it is what it is.

Didn't every other highly rated recruit in the universe go to the LSU game? Guess they ran out of invites.

With only a few spots left no room for a QB. Plus when he announced for IU, the staff flipped A Morris and took his commit within the next week. So the boat sailed on Gunner.

We could have still invited players for OVs. We had a better chance at Gunner than we ever did with Armstead or A Young.

So you'd rather have him than Gunner? Keep in mind, I have no idea how good Morris is.

I'm legitimately curious so don't take this as a flame...

but, with all the great players that bama recruits are they going to start looking at some punters and kickers?

How good is kiel and what are the realistic chances LSU can get him? I know many follow recruiting very close on here.
